A House Party!

Gingerbread Houses, that is. Dan & I hosted the drinks and appetizer portion of a holiday progressive dinner last night and it was a blast. We almost had a disaster because at 5 pm I checked when the dinner started and it was 5:30! Ack! The whole week I had in my mind that it started at seven! Whoops. Luckily there wasn't much I had left to do, so I quickly got everything together and put on my dress. My favorite part of our portion of the progressive dinner was the gingerbread house decorating station that I made! I used this recipe for gingerbread and royal icing. It worked perfectly!
